Remove Acid Buildup from Air Conditioners Acid scavenging solutions can help remove acid buildup in air conditioners. The presence of acids in AC/R systems is a common cause of refrigerant…
HVAC Technicians are experiencing Air Conditioner parts shortage as a result of COVID. It is more important than ever to practice preventative maintenance care on HVAC/R units to avoid emergency repairs and waiting for parts to become available.
Are you Losing Costs Due to Energy Inefficiencies? There are many ways to improve overall energy efficiency for commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
HVAC preventive maintenance can minimize virus spread by updating to high efficiency filters and regular service visits.
UV lamps or torches are the best dye companion for finding and observing leaks in AC&R systems that are normally invisible to the human eye or difficult to locate using an electronic device. Not all HVAC/R leak detection lamps are created equal and with many options on the market it can be challenging to know if you are making the right purchase.
GLO Seal™ combines high quality fluorescent dye with AC&R system leak sealant Cool Seal™, for a powerful and safe system additive. With one quick installation, GLO Seal™ pinpoints the exact location of all leaks and micro-leak areas.
Fluorescent dye is a fast and efficient way to find all leaks in air conditioning and refrigeration systems but given the nature of the product it can be messy if handled incorrectly. Most fluorescent dye spills occur when a service port of a pressurized AC&R system charged with dye is accessed, resulting in a forcible spray of dye. Additionally, incomplete connection to the service port and/or injecting fluorescent dyes into systems with damaged or out-of-specification service ports may also result in dye spills.
In recent years, the U.S has seen a steady rise in the fermented craft beverage industry, composed of alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages such as Kombucha or Cider. In 2019, there were over 8,000 breweries in the U.S, an 8.9% increase from the previous year. For wine making, the U.S accounts for 12% of the world’s production with over 10,000 wineries producing over 900,000 gallons of wine a year, as reported in 2017.
Commercial refrigerators are vital equipment that can cost a business a fortune if left un-serviced and breakdown. Preventive maintenance and routine care are necessary to help save on costs and keep your equipment running smoothly and more efficiently longer.
