AR-GLO 5 dye was evaluated for compatibility with R290 and R600a. Using ASHRAE STD 172 Method of Test for Insoluble Materials in Synthetic Lubricants and HFC Refrigerant System, both tests showed no compatibility issues between the dye product and the refrigerants evaluated.

Spectroline dye does not affect the operating characteristics of any system they are used in other than changing the color of the system oil. AR-GLO is a non-particulate dye. It is filtered down to 2 microns, assuring that any stray particles are captured. AR-GLO 5 is a system safe for all types of units to continually circulate with all popular refrigerants and oils without causing harm.
