Benefits of Spectroline Dye

Non-Particulate

Spectroline dye is non-particulate and filtered down to 2 microns. This means it is fully miscible ensuring that the fluorescent dye doesn’t change the precise characteristics of the host fluid.

Environmentally Safe

Formulated with safe raw materials and helps reduce refrigeration emissions into the atmosphere.

Co-Solvent Free

Spectroline dye is filtered and free of co-solvents, particulates making it small and easy to pass through any AC&R system safely where it can remain circulating.

OEM-Grade

Trusted by industry leaders the Spectroline advantage includes quality, OEM grade dye that will not void equipment warranty and can remain safely circulating in the system.

Dye Concentration

Spectroline dyes are highly concentrated meaning they not only fluoresce brilliantly, but you use less dye per dose.

NSF Certified

Spectroline dyes are NSF Certified for category codes HTX2 and HX-2. NSF certification signifies that the product has undergone extensive product testing and material analyses.

Sealant Performance:

Most competitor sealant and dye products react with moisture or oxygen. This is a dangerous choice especially as moisture is a common contaminate in air conditioning systems.

These products will polymerize, form solids and once solids are formed, they cannot be flushed out. The entire system may need to be replaced.

GLO Seal™ is an oil-soluble formula that will not polymerize and cause blockage or damage to the system.

Polymerizing sealants remain liquid until exposed to moisture or oxygen turning them into solids, once formed, they cannot be flushed out. Resulting in system failure.

Hose blocked with polymerizing sealant.

Fluorescent Dye Performance:

GLO Seal™ fluorescent response is six times brighter than competitor products and is engineered with a more balanced fluorophore for increased stability and brighter dye performance.

The dye application and excitation in tested competitor products is minimal and indistinguishable.

Competitor Analysis:

GLO SEAL is classified as not hazardous according to OSHA 1910.1200.

Competitor products contain highly flammable materials that present health and safety hazards and shipping restrictions.
