Spectronics Corporation is pleased to announce the sale of its NDT, Specialty, and UV Sanitizing divisions to Ten Oaks Group, a family investment office exclusively focused on corporate divestitures. The new company will operate under the name Spectro-UV.
Spectro-UV 未来将继续运营现有的无损检测产品组合以及专业部门的所有现有产品线，包括生命科学、固化、法医、矿物检测和害虫控制。更多 Spectro-UV will operate the existing UV sanitizer product line, including the CellBlaster (UV cell phone sanitizer), the DeGERM-inator (portable UV sanitizer), and germicidal UV cabinets. Spectro-UV will continue to sell under the Spectroline brand name in the NDT, Specialty, and UV Sanitizing end markets.
“UV product lines have been a part of our family business for over six decades, and we are excited to see Ten Oaks pursue the next phase of growth for these products. This divestiture will allow Spectronics to focus on our core portfolio of leak detection products for the automotive, HVAC/R and industrial sectors, where our company has been market leaders since we invented fluorescent leak detection in 1955,” said Jon Cooper, President of Spectronics Corporation.
