Spectronics Corporation is pleased to announce the sale of its NDT, Specialty, and UV Sanitizing divisions to Ten Oaks Group, a family investment office exclusively focused on corporate divestitures. The new company will operate under the name Spectro-UV.
Spectro-UV 今後、既存の非破壊検査製品ポートフォリオに加え、ライフサイエンス、硬化処理、法科学、鉱物検査、害虫駆除を含むスペシャリティ部門のすべての既存製品ラインを運営していく。さらに、 Spectro-UV will operate the existing UV sanitizer product line, including the CellBlaster (UV cell phone sanitizer), the DeGERM-inator (portable UV sanitizer), and germicidal UV cabinets. Spectro-UV will continue to sell under the Spectroline brand name in the NDT, Specialty, and UV Sanitizing end markets.
“UV product lines have been a part of our family business for over six decades, and we are excited to see Ten Oaks pursue the next phase of growth for these products. This divestiture will allow Spectronics to focus on our core portfolio of leak detection products for the automotive, HVAC/R and industrial sectors, where our company has been market leaders since we invented fluorescent leak detection in 1955,” said Jon Cooper, President of Spectronics Corporation.
